“I am a photographer who primarily focuses on landscape and portrait work. My work attempts to convey a simplistic view of the world as I experience it. Trying to find peace around every corner in the world around me is something I am motivated by and strive for the viewer to feel in my work. Much of my work is focused on studying the interactions of light and shadow and is the primary reason that I prefer black and white image-making. This series of photos is a reflection of these ideas and is very close to my heart

“Art For Life is a youth initiative by Southwest Behavioral, focused on fostering life skills and offering therapeutic benefits through the process of art-making. This showcase is the creative outcome of a two week cyanotype workshop held at the Shivwits Indian Reservation. Through each unique print, twelve youth have expressed personal stories, shared cherished objects, and built a sense of community, illustrating the powerful role art plays in personal growth and healing.”
